Banquet/Catering Server - click to view details
Title: Banquet/Catering Server
Department: Service
Reports to: Banquet Captain or Floor Captain regarding service Scullery captain regarding food and kitchen issues
Salary Range: $7 to $10 per hour plus gratuities
Interacts with: Servers, Kitchen Staff, Banquet Captain, guests, vendors, and clients.
JOB QUALIFICAITONS
- Great Communication Skills
- A Passion for Serving People
- Overall knowledge of food and beverage service
- Pleasant, professional, outgoing personality
- Current Food handlers card
- Reliable Transportation
- Well groomed appearance and good hygiene
- Drug free (alcohol free 12 to 15 hours prior to your shift)
- Physically fit (enough to carry a 40 lb tray overhead)
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Unload catering vehicle and set up event
- Build rapport with the guests that you are serving
- Serve guests food and take care of their needs
- Clear plates and keep tables tidy
- Load equipment back into van and tear down event
- Always represent Heidi’s with the highest possible level of service
- Perform onsite marketing such as passing out cards and offering guests information about our services
- Constantly look for an opportunity to go above and beyond your job description
- Always have a complete CLEAN AND IRONED uniform to include:
- Heidi’s Business cards at all times “Marketing is Job security”
- Black polish able and polished shoes ( no tennis shoes )
- Black dress pants or knee length skirt with black belt ( no faded pants or skirts please)
- White long sleeve collared button up shirt
- Black bistro apron
- Grey necktie
- Polo or T-shirt with Heidi’s Logo and Name for setup or casual events
- Watch (Cell phones don’t count and are not allowed at events unless you are a Captain Leave them in your car.)

Title: Floor Captain
Department: Service
Reports to: Banquet Captain for front of the house and scullery captain for back of the house
Salary Range: $8 to $10 per hour
Interacts with: Servers, Kitchen Staff, Banquet Captain, guests, vendors, and clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Oversee the serving staff during set up, serving , and clearing
- Train all new servers on the floor
- Oversee and organize the loading and unloading of the catering vehicles
- Build rapport with the guests that you are serving
- Serve guests of honor and VIP’s food and take care of them
- Always represent Heidi’s with the highest possible level of service
- Set an exemplary example for the serving staff to follow
- Perform onsite marketing such as passing out cards and offering guests information about our services
- Constantly look for an opportunity to go above and beyond your job description
- Follow same rules and guidelines set for servers

Department: Kitchen
Reports to: Banquet Captain, Director of Operations, Event planners
Salary Range: $10 - $15.00 per hour
Interacts with: Event planners, Banquet Captain, Floor Captains, Scullery Assistants, Chefs, Servers, Clients, and Vendors.
JOB QUALIFICAITONS
- General knowledge in food service industry
- Effective communication skills.
- Management requirements
- Managers Certificate in Safe Food Handling
- Arizona Drivers license with no restrictions on it
- Drug Free
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Organize and run food service at events.
- Do or Oversee all food and beverage set up.
- Build buffet (If buffet service)
- Heat up/plate up hors d oeuvres, make bread baskets and butter plates, serve salad.
- Maintain proper food safety procedures.
- Manage scullery assistant, and or event chefs.

- Mature and pleasant demeanor when interacting with client, vendors, etc.
- Manager Certification is Safe Food Handling.
- Arizona drivers license with no restrictions on it.

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Coordinate set up, food service, and tear down of the event.
- Act as a liaison between client and outside vendors to help ensure a successful event.
- Directly responsible for all equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure the safety and efficiency of staff by training and use of proper techniques.
